Toni - IMPORT GIRL EXTRORDINAIRE
Surfing the web looking for some cute import girls can be a daunting task, so we decided to pound the pavement and track down the hottest one we could find and bring her to you directly. Toni moved to New York from China when she was 3 years old. After graduating from NYU with B.S. in Economics, she moved out to California where she has been doing her thing ever since. Now on with the interview!
WW: How did you get into modeling?
Toni: I did light modeling since a teenager, in between summers and on the weekends. Then during college people often came up to me and wanted to do "shoots". I finally just decided to give it a shot and found it to be fun and rewarding, so I pursued it further.
WW: What was your first big gig?
Toni: There was no one "defining moment". I remember shooting for various web sites and getting more exposure gradually.
WW: Other than a lack of potholes, do you find living in California a lot different from life in New York City?
Toni: Definitely. SoCal is sunny and warm all the time, you can find parking a lot easier than in NY. And sorry to say this, but it is also much much cleaner.
WW: Was it an interest in modeling and entertainment that inspired the move?
Toni: I felt like I wanted a change. At the time of the move I didn't know I wanted to be involved in entertainment, but being closer to beautiful people was an attractive idea.
WW: I noted from your biography that you earned a degree in Economics, with a minor in Chemistry, seems like quite a career change J, what were your plans coming out of school?
Toni: I applied for and was accepted to dental school, but I decided not to go. I like dentistry, but the hefty price tag of another 4 years of school was daunting. At that time I was already day trading and it was rewarding enough for me to continue.
WW: Is traveling a major part of your work schedule?
Toni: Somewhat. I definitely travel more than the average person.
WW: When we spoke earlier you mention that you spend time in Shanghai, do you speak Mandarin?
Toni:Yes I do...
WW: Do you go out a lot? Are you big into the club circuit?
Toni: Apart from gogo dancing in various LA clubs, I do go out with my friends to some hotspots. The hotspot changes all the time, so there's no point in naming them. =)
WW: The highways in LA aren’t for the faint of heart, do you have a lot of road rage?
Toni: Not really. I try to avoid rush hours. I don't have to commute very long for work, thank goodness for that.
WW: Are you more of a fine Italian auto sort of girl? Or do you prefer rides that are tuned to race?
Toni: I like exotics more for driving. But as far as tuner cars I love fixing them up in my xbox 360 need for speed game. I have a pink one with all the performance upgrades all decked out and cool vinyls.
WW: What do you drive?
Toni: I have a lexus RX 400h (for the environmentalist in me), and a 360 modena spider (for the speed demon in me).
WW: The Cali auto scene is crazy, if you could choose one dream car, what would it be?
Toni: I can't play with just ONE car..... but for the moment I can setTonie for a McLaren SLR. =)
WW: Any big plans for 2006?
Toni: Doing shoots in some exotic places all over the world, should yield some exciting stuff.
