OCTOBER AUTO 2006 - SAKS SIGNATURE EDITION CL600 -
It’s about that time of year for some holiday auto collaborations! This year is no exception as Mercedes-Benz is teams up with leading luxury department store Saks Fifth Avenue to bring Benz fanatics a signature edition of the CL600 flagship for sale only in the "The Gift" catalog this holiday season. Only 20 of these limited edition CL600s will be produced and offered in the catalog that should hit Saks’ customer mailboxes by mid-October.
So what does it feature? The CL600 Signature Edition is powered by a twin-turbo 12-cylinder powerplant that generates 612 ft-lbs. of torque and 510 horsepower. Other than the standard configuration, the signature edition features an exclusive colorway designed to depict the festive nature of the holiday season. With an exterior color called “Mystic White,” an interior leathered in “Porcelain Nappa” leather and Piano Lacquer Black wood-trim, this car is sure to please. While the pricing hasn’t been announced yet, last year's signature edition S600 sedans sold for roughly $145K.
