GXS Motorsport Models - Lieu Pink Returns!!
Back by popular demand, Whipwork.com has brought back Lieu Pink for a second interview! As part of the GXS Motorsport Model triple feature, Lieu sure has been busy since we last spoke to her. You can check out more of her on her myspace page at www.myspace.com/lieupink.
WW: It's been four months since our last interview, how are things with you??
Lieu: Wow, only four months? lol it seems like it was only yesterday when I got my first feature! I've been keeping busy of course, with 2 jobs, school, and modeling, sometimes it’s a real struggle to keep my head above water! With modeling it's been really busy as well. If you remembered from the last interview, I said my major plans for 2006 were to take over the import scene, so everything’s going according to plan :). I'm hoping to REALLY pick up the pace these next coming months. I've been featured on NBC Sports countdown, to green, Import Tuner Performance Audio and Sound, Octane TV, G4 TV, Speed Channel (Redline) to name a few.
WW: What's been going on?
Lieu: For one thing, I finally left Whittier and moved to Huntington Beach! Living on my own is definitly rewarding and challenging, I went through a month or so of laying low while I got adjusted to the new lifestyle and to find balance. I've also switched jobs (a couple of them!) I now work at a sport's bar in Huntington Beach (no, it's not topless, sorry guys :P). Also, I might in the works to possibly start go-go dancing for Nostalgia at Club Friction on Fridays!
WW: Have you done any traveling?
Lieu: I have but not for modeling. On labor day I went to Rosarito where I magically turned 21, haha! I had a great time riding the bull at Papa's and Beer (I showed that bull who was boss!) Dancing on the platforms, and otherwise having the much needed stress relief!
WW: Now for some token, generic interview questions, do you have any pets?
Lieu: This question is kind of funny but sad at the same time, because this question hit home! So much for being generic, huh. :( When I moved to Huntington Beach my cat Frodo ran away because he wasn't used to this area, and he was honestly like my baby. He's been missing for a few months now, and I'm still recovering so no more pets for awhile I get way too attached!!
WW: What kind of music do you like?
Lieu: I like a little bit of everything I know that sounds cliche but I honestly do! This Saturday I'm going to Inland Invasion, a concert that will have Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Muse, Papa Roach, Alice in Chains, 30 seconds to Mars, Guns and Roses, etc..but I also love the pop music, you can't take away my Justin Timberlake, Fergie, Pussycat Dolls, Nelly Furtado, Gwen Stefani or any of that!!! Make fun of me but I dont care lol.
WW: What's in your fridge?
Lieu: Glad you asked, I just went shopping! When I moved in all I had was a bottle of Tapatio, airheads, and hot cheetos. Things have improved since then. My fridge is actually pretty healthy right now, stocked with fruits, veggies, yogurt, milk, eggs, chicken, etc. I'm always on a health kick and watch what I put into my body, after all you are what you eat!
WW: Are you a menace behind the wheel?
Lieu: Gotta judge just cuz I'm asian dont cha! lol Well, in truth I am a bit of a menace. I thank God I don't have a faster car because I would die! I love the power and control of a stick shift, and it's always fun to outrun a guy who is trying to be smooth and hit on you. Not enough game for this bitch! lol haha just playing.
WW: Do you girls spend a lot of time together socially when you're not working?
Lieu: I wish I could say that we did, but the truth is that with our schedules being so chaotic it's really hard to coordinate. I definitly think we will be spending a lot more time together in the future though with GXS growing as it is, and we do have a lot of fun when we hang out at car shows. Feby actually lives in the same city as me believe it or not, and I just met Sophi at the last car show but she is very sweet-they will both blow up big along with the rest of the girls!
WW: In your line of work, you must get approached by all types of people. What do you look for in a date?
Lieu: Haha, I've definitly gotten some interesting approaches but at this point in my life I'm not looking to date. It complicates things!!! I already have so much on my plate I dont want to lose focus on my goals.
WW: Four months later . . . what's on the horizon for the next six?
